Linvention porte, en outre, sur des sels pharmaceutiquement acceptables dudit dérivé. Ledit composé possède un effet inhibiteur sur la production dAβ ou sur BACE1, et peut être utilisé en tant quagent prophylactique ou thérapeutique pour une maladie neurodégénérative provoquée par lAβ, telle que, par exemple, une démence de type maladie dAlzheimer.
