PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lavatory cleaning composition that improves the antibacterial and bactericidal actions of polyhexamethylene biguanide hydrochloride showing the antibacterial and bactericidal actions, attains the effective antibacterial and bactericidal actions at a low concentration, and can suppress darkening fouling.SOLUTION: The lavatory cleaning composition comprises the polyhexamethylene biguanide hydrochloride and a compound that is represented by formula (1), wherein m and n are arbitrary integers and wherein a substituent represented by R1 is a straight- or branched-chain 12-14C alkyl group.
