PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hedge trimmer that enhances the efficiency of finishing lawn pruning.SOLUTION: In the hedge trimmer 1 having an eccentric cam for converting the rotary force of a rotary power source into the reciprocating movement of a blade 4, an attachment 10 serving as an adjusting mechanism for varying the reaped height of lawn in steps is provided. The attachment 10 is separate from a body part and made removable and its attached position to the body part can be varied in a plurality of steps by selectively fitting one of a plurality of fitting parts 5a to 5c and 12a to 12c over the body part or the attachment 10.
