PURPOSE: A safety blade for a grass cutter is provided to improve cutting efficiency and to prevent the engine of the grass cutter from being overloaded by reducing the weight of the blade. CONSTITUTION: A safety blade (20) for a grass cutter is attached to the rotary shaft of a grass cutter head. The blade comprises a rotary plate (22) and a cutting blade (24). A shaft holes (21) attached to the rotary shaft of the grass cutter head is punched in the center of the rotary plate. The cutting blade is combined with the outside of the rotary plate by a hinge (24c) and is pulled back when collides with stones or the rocks. The cutting blade is made of plastic materials.본 발명은 예초기의 칼날에 관한 것으로, 상세히는 잡초나 잔디 등을 벨 때 지면의 돌이 튀는 것을 별도의 안전장치 없이도 효과적으로 차단할 수 있도록 함과 아울러 1회의 절단으로 2회의 절단작업을 한 것과 같은 효과를 볼 수 있도록 한 예초기용 안전 칼날에 관한 것인바, 예초기 헤드(10)의 회전축에 부착되는 칼날(20)로 상기 칼날(20)은 예초기 헤드의 회전축에 부착되는 축구멍(21)이 중앙에 천공된 회전판(22)과, 상기 회전판(22)의 외측에 힌지(24c)로 결합되어 돌멩이나 바위 등에 부딪힐 때 뒤로 젖혀지는 절단날(24)을 포함하여 이루어지되, 상기 절단날(24)은 플라스틱 소재로 이루어지며, 상기 절단날(24)은 지면에 가깝게 위치하는 하부 칼날(24a)과, 상기 하부 칼날(24a)과 이격되며 상기 하부 칼날(24a)의 위에 위치하는 상부 칼날(24b)로 이루어진다.
