PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic watering device capable of supplying much water on a strong sunlight day when plants want water and supplying water to a flowerpot in a water supply amount per day which is determined based on a daily range of temperature.SOLUTION: An automatic watering device 1 comprises: a closed vessel 4 filled with water 2 and air 3 a water-draining tube 9 of which one end part 5 is provided to be submerged in the water 2 in the closed vessel 4 and the other end part 6 is provided to face soil 8 in a flowerpot 7 outside the closed vessel 4 a water supply tube 13 of which one end part 10 is provided to be submerged in the water 2 in the closed vessel 4 and the other end part 11 is provided to be submerged in the water 2 stored in a water storage vessel 12 juxtaposed with the closed vessel 4 a check valve 14 which allows the water 2 to flow from the end part 5 to the end part 6, while preventing the water 2 from reversely flowing and a check valve 14a which allows the water 2 to flow from the end part 11 to the end part 10, while preventing the water 2 from reversely flowing.COPYRIGHT: (C)2016,JPO&INPIT【課題】植物が水を欲する陽射しの強い日に多くの水を給水し、気温の日較差に基づいて決定された一日当たりの給水量をもって植木鉢に給水することができる自動水やり装置を提供すること。【解決手段】自動水やり装置1は、水2と空気3とが充填された密閉容器4と、端部5が密閉容器4内の水2内に没入して配されていると共に端部6が密閉容器4外において植木鉢7の用土8に臨んで配された排水用チューブ9と、端部10が密閉容器4内の水2内に没入して配されていると共に端部11が密閉容器4に併置された水貯留容器12に貯留された水2内に没入して配された給水用チューブ13と、端部5から端部6への水2の流動を許容する一方、その逆の水2の流動を禁止する逆止弁14と、端部11から端部10への水2の流動を許容する一方、その逆の水2の流動を禁止する逆止弁14aとからなる。【選択図】図1
