PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a double bearing reel where a cover part can easily be opened to improve operability and workability to an interior structure.SOLUTION: A cover opening mechanism 50 of a double bearing reel 10 comprises: a frame 17 a first-side cover part 18a a spool supporting part 15 and a cover opening/closing part 16. The cover opening/closing part 16 includes a cover opening/closing structure 36 and a biasing member 37. The cover opening/closing structure 36 engages with the spool supporting part 15 and the first-side cover part 18a, and specifies an opening/closing state of the first-side cover part 18a. The biasing member 37 is arranged between the first-side cover part 18a and the cover opening/closing structure 36, and biases the first-side cover part 18a to be openable.
