PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform imaging safely even when patients wearing pacemakers are in the vicinity of a radiation imaging cassette, in the radiation imaging cassette wirelessly communicating with an external console for issuing imaging instructions.SOLUTION: The radiation imaging cassette is provided with two types of communication means which are a wireless communication means 28 for communicating wirelessly with an imaging control means 60 (console) and a cable communication means 29 for communicating with the imaging control means 60 by a cable and a metal detection sensor 11 for detecting a metal in the periphery of a housing 10.
