PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress excessive radiation irradiation onto a subject which is attributed to the delay in information transmission.SOLUTION: A radiation imaging system includes a radiation imaging apparatus for taking an image of a radiation ray that has passed through a subject by the irradiation of the radiation ray, and a communication control apparatus for controlling the communication between a radiation generation apparatus and the radiation imaging apparatus. The radiation imaging apparatus includes communication means for performing communication with the communication control apparatus, and communication control means for executing control so as to transmit irradiation information related to the radiation ray irradiation in priority to the transmission of the image of a radiation ray in an imaging period.
