In the present invention, there is disclosed a sampling adapter for measuring diffusion escape of gases from dumping grounds wherein the sampling adapter consists of a chamber with an outlet to an analyzer, wherein the chamber id formed by a low cylinder divided horizontally into a sampling chamber (1) and a storage chamber (5), wherein the sampling chamber (1) height is at the most 30 mm while the interior thereof consists of radial ribs (3). Slots (4) performed on the sampling chamber circumference connect thereof with an air chamber (5) being at the most 50 mm high. A hollow sampling rod (7) is introduced into the sampling chamber (1). A sampling hose (8) for discharge of the taken gas sample to the analyzer passes freely through the interior of the sampling rod (7).
