AGRICULTURAL AND HORTICULTURAL AGENT FOR IMPARTING HIGH-TEMPERATURE STRESS RESISTANCE AND METHOD FOR IMPARTING HIGH-TEMPERATURE STRESS RESISTANCE BY USING THE SAME
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an agricultural and horticultural agent for imparting high-temperature stress resistance, producible at a low cost and having high safety to consumers and users, and a method for imparting high-temperature stress resistance by using the agent. SOLUTION: High-temperature stress resistance is imparted by applying a plant with branched chain amino acids having an activity to vary amino acid metabolism of the plant and including valine, leucine andα-ketoisovaleric acid, intermediates in biosynthetic path and consuming path of the amino acids, branched chain amino acid synthase inhibiting substances including thifensulfuron methyl, imazapyr and bispyribac sodium salt, or substances inhibiting aromatic amino acid synthase including glyphosate.
