PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medicine packaging device capable of performing printing on packaging paper with high printing quality without providing packaging paper support base or the like while having a printing part for performing printing by injecting ink.SOLUTION: A medicine packaging device 10 includes a medicine supply part 20, a packaging part 30, a packaging paper transportation part 40, and a printing part 60. The printing part 60 includes an ink ejection part 62 capable of ejecting ink downward. A transportation route T of the packaging paper transportation part 40 includes a crossing direction transportation part T1 for transporting the packaging paper S in a direction crossing an ink ejection direction, and a first transportation direction switching part 46 and a second transportation direction switching part 48 for changing the transportation direction of the packaging paper S on the upstream side and on the downstream side in the transportation direction of the packaging paper S with respect to the crossing direction transportation part T1.
