PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medicine packaging apparatus capable of miniaturizing the apparatus and reducing the number of mounting members.SOLUTION: For the ink ribbon feed mechanism 143 of a printing mechanism 140, the arrangement of ink ribbon supply mechanisms 44a+45a and the arrangement of ink ribbon winding mechanisms 44b+45b at the back of a printhead 42 is changed from a lateral arrangement to an anteroposterior arrangement. Thus, the horizontal width of the print mechanism 140 is reduced to be narrower than the depth mostly. Also, a separate package belt supply mechanism 30 is moved to the side of the printing mechanism 140, and in the separate package belt supply mechanism 30, a separate package belt pivot part 31 is placed at the back and a movable roller 36 is placed at the front.
