A deployable infection treatment system (10) includes a cannula device (12) comprising a cannula body (13) having a proximal end (16), a flared distal end (18), and a lumen (20) extending therebetween. The lumen (20) has a longitudinal x-axis extending therethrough. A sponge (14) or drain is provided, the sponge (14) having a distal end (24) and a proximal end (22), wherein in a non- deployed configuration, the sponge (14) is compressed within the cannula bodys lumen (20) and in a deployed configuration the distal end (24) of the sponge (14) expands out of the cannula bodys lumen 820). An integrated pump and vacuum device (31) is provided, wherein when the sponge (14) is in a deployed configuration, the device is in fluid communication with a therapeutic fluid source. The pump controls the delivery of the therapeutic fluid to the proximal end of the sponge.
