PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a puncturing device wherein a puncture needle of a puncture needle unit and a plunger of the puncturing device can be surely connected to each other when the puncture needle unit is mounted to the puncturing device.SOLUTION: The puncturing device 10 is used by mounting a puncturing tool 2 provided with the puncture needle 22 and a cylindrical casing for housing the puncture needle 22. The puncturing device 10 is provided with a hollow housing 3 and the plunger 5 housed in the housing 3 and having a cylindrical connection part 51 to be connected to the puncture needle 22 in a state where the casing 21 is mounted. The connection part 51 includes a plurality of ribs 56 formed at its periphery part 513 along its center axis O2 and arranged along the peripheral direction of the periphery part 513.
