PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an X-ray imaging apparatus capable of downsizing, lightening a mechanism for moving the turning shaft of a turning arm and quickly and accurately, and moving the turning shaft of the turning arm further.SOLUTION: An X-ray imaging apparatus includes: an X-ray irradiation part 8 for irradiating a subject with X-rays an X-ray detection part 9 for detecting the X-rays transmitted through the subject a turning arm 6 where the X-ray irradiation part 8 and the X-ray detection part 9 are arranged while facing each other a uniaxial linear movement mechanism for uniaxially and linearly moving a table in a direction perpendicular to the normal line of the table and a crank member. The crank member includes a connection part, an upper shaft projected upwards from the connection part, and a lower shaft projected downwards from the connection part and shifted from the upper shaft. An upper bearing part for pivotally supporting the upper shaft is fixed to the table, and the axial direction of the upper shaft and the normal line direction of the table coincide with each other.
