PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transplanter which can simplify a structure and facilitate operation adjustment in an operation mechanism of a planting tool of a transplant object.SOLUTION: The transplanter includes: a planting tool 20 including an opening/closing part for storing a transplant object so as to discharge the transplant object a lifting mechanism 21 supporting the planting tool 20 so as to lift/lower the planting tool 20 in a predetermined stroke a soil covering tool 37 covering soil on a field surface at a lowered position of the planting tool 20 and a soil covering frame 39 supporting the soil covering tool 37 on both sides at the lowered position of the planting tool 20. The opening/closing part is constituted by two split bodies 20p, 20p pivoted so as to be linked/opened at a lower part of the planting tool 20. An operation member 20q rotation-operating the one split body 20p is arranged in a projecting manner so as to be operated upward on an outer peripheral part of the planting tool 20. The operation member 20q is arranged so as to contact the soil covering frame 39 in a lowering stroke of the planting tool 20, thereby enabling synchronous operation by means of direct action of the planting tool 20.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
