To constitute the front and rear areas of a seedling supply device for being constituted ON the frame rear part of a vehicle body, to the utmost, in such a manner that the areas are as narrow as possible, because both a proper driving operation and seedling supply are strongly desired, ON ground that an operator himself/herself often performs a transplanting operation while supplying a seedling to a seedling planting apparatus, in the case of a seedling planting machine for transplanting vegetables, particularly, lettuce, cabbage and etc., from the viewpoint of the characteristics of operations.
SOLUTION: A seedling transplanter is equipped with a seedling cup conveyer (3) which receives the seedling and which sends the seedlings to a seedling supply position above an edge (1) for seedling planting and which drops and supplies the seedling into the edge (1) for seedling. The seedling supply position is set in positions (A) and (B), to the outside and of a front stroke (F) in the horizontal direction of the cup conveyer (3), and positions (C) and (D), to the inside and of a rear stroke (R).
