The present invention relates to a semi-hot-air coffee roaster using near infrared rays which roasts coffee beans promptly and uniformly through a dual system using near infrared rays and hot air by heating the sucked external air through a heating drum having a plurality of protrusion parts, a near infrared ray heater including a duct which is inserted into the heating drum to supply hot air to the heating drum, and a core heater which sucks in an external air, thereby heating the hot air through the duct, and which realizes uniform roasting by automatically controlling roasting in a state that a temperature sensor mounted on the heating drum and an embedded system mounted on a housing that encircles the heating drum are connected with each other, thereby automatically controlling roasting.
