The embodiments of the invention concern a fishing lure, fishing method using said lure and a manufacturing method of said lure. The lure (101) comprises an elongated body part (107) with at least one gliding track (205) forming a gliding recess (205) at an opening to form a gliding path to an active hook assembly. The active hook assembly (102) comprises a first lever arm (104, 301) and a second lever arm (307), which comprises in an active hook assembly latch AHAL (300). A notch counterpart (305, 306) on the second lever arm (307) is operable as a part of a trigger to hold and latch the combination of the lever arms (301, 307) to move the active hook assembly (102) attached thereto. A spring (504) is attached between the second lever arm (307, 304) and the body part (107, 304S). The spring (504) is energized by gliding the combination of the lever arms (301, 307) from a released position to a triggered position. The second lever arm (307) comprises gliding counterpart surfaces arranged to glide in the gliding recess (205) of the at least one body part (107), between a triggered position and a released position, wherein the activated position is maintained by the notch (204) and its counterpart (305, 306) so that the combination of the lever arms (301, 307) is ready to make the active hook assembly (102) to make a counter strike when the notch (204) and its counterpart (305, 306) release the combination of lever arms (301, 307) at a fish attack impact.
