PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inhibitor of a complement pathway for treating eye diseases.SOLUTION: Provided is a complement inhibitor to be used for treatment of age-related macular degeneration (AMD), diabetic retinopathy, eyeball angioplasty (eyeball neovascularization, etc. affecting tissues of the choroidea, cornea or retinae), and clinical conditions or diseases related to the eye, such as other eyeball conditions responsible for the activation of the complement. The AMD treatment is available for dry type AMD and exudative type AMD as well.
