PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide polysaccharide nano gel which is safe and excellent in thickening property and the production method thereof, and to provide a wound healing agent which can heal a wound affected area safely and efficiently, but without concern of side effects, for preventing or ameliorating a wound (bedsore) in elderly persons or long-term hospitalization patients.SOLUTION: The invention provides polysaccharide nano gel composed of polysaccharide which is composed of repeating oligosaccharide units consisting of galactose, glucose, and rhamnose, and is modified with a pyruvic acid, wherein a hydrogen atom composing a part of hydroxyl groups in the above polysaccharide is partially substituted by cholesterol or a derivative thereof. The polysaccharide nano gel of the invention is excellent in safety and thickening property, and does not lose moisture and water retention which is a characteristic of polysaccharide. And it is possible to design sol-gel materials applicable to a use from the above polysaccharide nano gel, for example it is used for food and drink, pharmaceutical preparations, cosmetics, or the like, and particularly it is useful for a wound healing agent.COPYRIGHT: (C)2015,JPO&INPIT【課題】安全かつ増粘性に優れた、多糖ナノゲルおよびその製造方法を提供するとともに、高齢者や長期入院患者における創傷(床ずれ)の予防または改善のために、副作用の心配がなく、安全性を有し、かつ効率的に創傷患部を治癒することができる、創傷治癒剤を提供すること。【解決手段】本発明は、ガラクトース、グルコース、およびラムノースからなるオリゴ糖単位の繰り返しにより構成され、かつピルビン酸で修飾されている、多糖から構成され、上記多糖中の一部の水酸基を構成する水素原子がコレステロールまたはその誘導体等で部分的に置換されている多糖ナノゲルを提供する。本発明の多糖ナノゲルは、安全かつ増粘性に優れ、多糖の特性である保湿・保水性を損なわない。また、上記多糖ナノゲルは、使用用途に合わせたゾル-ゲルマテリアルの設計が可能であり、例えば飲食品、医薬品、化粧品などに用いられ、特に創傷治癒剤として有用である。【選択図】なし
