PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent wasteful work mistakes by allowing automatic discrimination of a users tablet sheet throw-in work and the position of the tablet taking-out unit with the tablet sheet thrown in when the user only throws the tablet sheet into the tablet taking-out unit selected from among plural tablet taking-out units.SOLUTION: A tablet supplying apparatus having plural tablet taking-out units is positioned to a throw-in port through which a tablet sheet is thrown into a tablet taking-out unit, and then reads the tablet sheet identification data from the tablet sheet thrown into the throw-in port. When the identification data is read, the tablet supplying apparatus identifies the number of the tablet taking-out unit for which the identification data was read as the number of the tablet taking-out unit having the throw-in port into which the tablet sheet was thrown, according to unit information in which the information to identify the throw-in port of the tablet taking-out unit with the read means positioned at is associated with each of the tablet taking-out units.
