The present invention relates to a method for reactively crushing jatropha seeds, said method making it possible, starting with specifically conditioned jatropha seeds in the presence of light alcohol and a basic catalyst, to carry out, in a single step, the crushing as well as the reaction for transesterifying the triglycerides present in the jatropha oil, thus causing an oil cake, glycerol, and fatty acid esters to be simultaneously produced. The method for processing the jatropha seeds, according to the invention, makes it possible to inactivate, in a simple, low-cost manner, the phorbol esters in addition to the curcine, thus enabling humans to handle the seeds without risk and moreover use the castor oil cake in animal feed. Characteristically, the seeds are conditioned by a series of operations that include a step of pressing the seeds and a step of drying same.La présente invention concerne un procédé de trituration réactive de graines de Jatropha qui permet, en partant de graines de Jatropha spécifiquement conditionnées et en présence d'alcool léger et de catalyseur basique, d'effectuer en une seule étape la trituration et la réaction de transestérification des triglycérides présents dans l'huile de Jatropha, pour conduire à l'obtention simultanée d'un tourteau, de glycérol et d'esters d'acides gras. Le procédé de traitement des graines de Jatropha selon l'invention permet d'inactiver, d'une manière simple et peu coûteuse, en plus de la curcine, les esters de phorbol, rendant ainsi possible d'une part, la manipulation sans risque par l'homme et, d'autre part, l'utilisation du tourteau de ricin en alimentation animale. De manière caractéristique, les graines sont conditionnées par une suite d'opérations comprenant une étape d'aplatissage et une étape de séchage de celles-ci.
