Computerized system and methods for arranging and overseeing the provision of care services between care clients and care resources so as to form a care services marketplace. The system and method utilize a plurality of care resource devices and a plurality of care client devices that communicate over one or more networks. An automated method matches a care client with care resources based on core commonalities and then sorts the matches into different categories using a set of rules applied to the parties' preferences. The sorted matches are provided to the care client, who may select one of the care resources for the provision of services. A selected care resource is notified and may agree to provide services to the care client. Once the care resource has performed the services and the care client approves payment, reviews are collected and the care resource is automatically paid through a payment gateway.
