A dual-bearing reel includes spool support detachably coupled on a side of a reel body and rotatably supports a spool shaft. A cover is supported by the spool support to advance and retract between a proximate position for approaching and covering the spool support and a separated position that is separated in an axial direction. A lock engages the cover in the proximate position. First and second connecting parts support the cover on the spool support portion to be pivotable in a first direction, from a covering position in which the cover covers the spool support to an operating position in which the spool support can be attached and detached, and in an opposite second direction into an open position.
