PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a forcing culture system for Japanese horseradish in a greenhouse by which the period required for cultivating Japanese horseradish can be shortened irrigation water resource is not limited to spring water or mountain runoff water not so large quantity of water is necessarily secured the Japanese horseradish is prevented from disease damage such as soft rot or inking as much as possible, and cultivation management work is reduced and rationalized so as to enable power saving.SOLUTION: The forcing culture system for Japanese horseradish in a greenhouse is provided: with air- and water-permeable ridges formed by piling culture soil composed of coarse fragment material in an appropriate thickness on the rooftop of the greenhouse a watering pipe through which cultivation water is supplied toward the culture soil from above and a pump supplying water under pressure. In the system, the pump is connected to the watering pipe to supply culture water to the culture medium through the watering pipe the water is collected or drained to or from the blind ditch by gravitational force during cultivating Japanese horseradish, and meanwhile, the pump is connected to the blind ditch to introduce pressure water for washing the culture medium to the culture medium from the blind ditch, and the culture medium is washed via the pressure of the pressure water to force the Japanese horseradish in the greenhouse.COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT【目的】ワサビの栽培期間を短縮することができ、用水の水源を湧水や沢水に限られないで、その確保すべき水量も多量でなくて良く、軟腐病、墨入病等の病害に侵されることを極力なくすことができ、栽培管理作業を軽減・合理化して省力化可能なワサビの栽培方法を提供することを目的とする。【構成】ハウス内の床上に礫状物から成る培地が適宜厚さに堆積された通気性及び通水性のある畝と、培地に向けて上方から栽培用水を潅水する潅水管と、培地内に配設された複数本の暗渠と、水を加圧供給するポンプと、を具備するワサビのハウス促成栽培システムにおいて、ワサビ栽培中において、ポンプを潅水管に接続して、栽培用水を潅水管から培地に潅水し、重力によって暗渠に集・排水する一方、ワサビ収穫後において、ポンプを暗渠に接続して、培地洗浄用圧力水を暗渠から培地に導入し、圧力水の水圧によって培地を洗浄してワサビをハウス内にて促成栽培することとした。【選択図】図2
