PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorbent article that can restrain the occurrence of stuffiness during an article wearing period while securing the strength of wing parts.SOLUTION: Side sheets 2b extending in a width direction from the longitudinal side edges of a surface sheet 2a as well as extending over the substantially total length of a body part 5 are arranged in side part positions along the longitudinal direction of the surface sheet 2a. Liquid impermeable sheets 9 for wings extending in the width direction from the longitudinal side edges of a liquid impermeable sheet 3 for a body are arranged in side part positions along the longitudinal direction of the sheet 3. The liquid impermeable sheets 9 for the wings overlap with at least part of the side sheets 2b to form the wing parts 6.
