FIELD: measurement technology.SUBSTANCE: invention refers to methods of assessing human life safety, namely to methods for assessing acoustic safety of human vital activity. Method of evaluating acoustic safety in the infrasonic range of frequencies involves determining the following from the results of measuring the acoustic environment: Δ1 is difference between actual and maximum allowable value of equivalent total infrasound level per working shift, Δ2 is the difference between the actual and the maximum permissible value of the maximum total infrasound level, measured with time correction "slowly" in frequency range 1.4…22 Hz, Δ3 is difference between actual and maximum allowable value of equivalent level of sound pressure per working shift in octave frequency band 2 Hz, Δ4 – difference between actual and maximum allowable value of equivalent level of sound pressure per working shift in octave frequency band 4 Hz, Δ5 is difference between actual and maximum allowable value of equivalent level of sound pressure per working shift in octave frequency band of 8 Hz, Δ6 is the difference between the actual and maximum allowable value of the equivalent sound pressure level per working shift in the octave frequency band of 16 Hz, based on which values the acoustic safety factor is calculated, and by value k, acoustic safety in infrasonic range of frequencies is evaluated as unsatisfactory if k<;5; satisfactory if 5≤k<;15; good if 15≤k<;25, or excellent if k≥25.EFFECT: use of the invention enables providing the possibility of evaluating the acoustic safety of human vital activity in the infrasonic frequency range based on the determination of objective estimates of informative values.1 cl, 1 tblИзобретение относится к способам оценивания безопасности жизнедеятельности человека, а именно к способам оценивания акустической безопасности условий жизнедеятельности человека.
