CONSTITUTION: A composition for skin whitening contains 0.005-50 weight% of Veronica Longifolila L extract as an active ingredient. A method for preparing the extract comprises: a step of washing and drying Veronica Longifolila L with water； a step of extracting Veronica Longifolila L with water, alcohol or mixture thereof； and a step of filtering and concentrating the extract.
