PURPOSE: A composition containing extract of fermented Polymina sonchifolia leaf tea is provided to suppress adult diseases such as type 2 diabetes.CONSTITUTION: A pharmaceutical composition for preventing or treating type 2 diabetes contains extract of fermented Polymina sonchifolia leaf tea as an active ingredient. The tea leaves are fermented at 16-20°C for 10-15 hours.
