The present invention provides a pharmaceutical composition for treating cardiovascular disorders comprising 3-1 portion echinocystic acid and 1 portion oleanolic acid as the active components. The present invention also provides a gleditsiae extract comprising echinocystic acid and oleanolic acid of 90.0%-99.9% total weight, wherein the weight ratio of echinocystic acid and oleanolic acid is 3:1-1:3. The preparation method and use of the extract are also provided in the present invention.
