PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an implant material which forms a satisfactory bond with a living bone texture and has excellent stability and durability.SOLUTION: The implant material includes a substrate 10, and a carbon material film 20 formed on the surface of the substrate 10. The surface of the carbon material film 20 comprises carbon atoms, oxygen atoms, and nitrogen atoms. The carbon atoms bond with the oxygen atoms to form carbon-oxygen single bonds and carboxyl carbon.
