PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent fragments of a broken housing of a radiation detector from scattering when it is broken without lowering compatibility to a human body.SOLUTION: A radiation detector 30 comprises: a radiation detection panel 21 and a housing 22. The radiation detection panel 21 detects radiation. The housing 22 internally houses the radiation detection panel 21, a support member 20 for supporting it, and a circuit board 23 on which a portion of an electric circuit, for processing signals of the radiation detection panel 21, and the like are mounted. An inner surface of the housing 22 is covered with a film-like scattering prevention material 19. The scattering prevention material 19 is made of a viscoelastic material such as rubber or silicone resin or an adhesive material.
