The invention relates to the field of medicine, and specifically to devices ensuring an increase in safety measures against bacterial infections when selecting, storing and supplying biological material and working therewith in healthcare facilities, and can also be used in veterinary medicine and applied biotechnology. The container for biomaterial comprises a hollow body (1) and a cap (2) having an external projecting part (3) and an internal projecting part (4), which parts interact with the upper part of the body. The external projecting part (3) of the cap (2) has a thread (5) and a sealing annular projection (6) arranged thereabove, and the internal projecting part (4) of said cap forms an open cavity (7) and has an annular projection (8), or projections (11) distributed around the circumference. The upper part of the body (1) has a thread (9), a surface (10) for interaction with the sealing annular projection (6) of the cap (2) and with the annular projection (8) or with the projections (11) distributed around the circumference.
