PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refrigerator which is equipped with a small deodorizing/sterilizing device that efficiently generates many OH radicals and achieves high deodorization and/or sterilization.SOLUTION: The refrigerator includes a plurality of storages containing refrigeration temperature zone chambers 2 and 6 and freezing temperature zone chambers 4 and 5 for preserving foods, a compressor 24 for compressing a refrigerant, a cooling device 7 for cooling air using the refrigerant, and a child air flow path through which the air chilled by the cooling device 7 through heat exchange circulates within each storage. A water generating means 64 which collects water content for water generation from the air is provided in a machine room 19 in which the compressor 24 is arranged of which the temperature and humidity are higher than each storage in the refrigerator.
