PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for regenerating, efficiently within a brief period based on a simple operation, the adsorption capacity of an adsorbent whose lower aldehyde adsorption performance has deteriorated.SOLUTION: A non-volatile acid selected from among sulfuric acid, phosphoric acid, boric acid, and mono- through tribasic oxyacids is added and adhered anew to an adsorbent provided by adding and adhering urea and an acidic compound to a porous carrier such as activated carbon, etc. following deteriorations of lower aldehyde adsorption performances thereof at a ratio of 5-1000 mg with respect to 1 g of the lower aldehyde adsorbent so as to efficiently regenerate the adsorption capacity thereof.COPYRIGHT: (C)2015,JPO&INPIT【課題】低級アルデヒド類の吸着性能が低下した吸着剤を簡単な操作で短時間に効率良く吸着能を再生する方法を提供する。【解決手段】低級アルデヒド類の吸着性能が低下した、尿素と酸性化合物を活性炭等の多孔質担体に添着した吸着剤に、新たに硫酸、リン酸、ホウ酸、又は1~3塩基オキシ酸である不揮発酸を低級アルデヒド類吸着剤1gに対して5~1000mg添着することにより吸着能を効率的に再生する。【選択図】なし
