PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fluorescent tissue marker which can be located even from the outside of an organ and which can topically stay there for a long time and to provide its production method.
SOLUTION: There is provided a fluorescent tissue marker having vesicle clusters prepared by allowing vesicles resulting from the conjugation of a phospholipid and a near-infrared fluorophore to be occluded in a hydrophilic solvent, forming a plurality of capsules with the aid of an emulsifier and coagulating them. There is also provided a method for producing a fluorescent marker comprising adding a near-infrared fluorophore and a phospholipid to a first hydrophilic solvent under agitation, adding the first hydrophilic solvent and an emulsifier to a hydrophobic solvent to form a suspension, and centrifuging the formed suspension by using a second hydrophilic solvent.
