The present invention relates to a production method of mugwort steamed bread and the production method of the mugwort steamed bread comprises the following steps: collecting mugwort; washing the collected mugwort, removing the moisture from the mugwort before inserting the mugwort into 1,500-2,000 L of water boiled to 90-120 after adding 0.2-0.5 parts by weight of salt, and boiling the mugwort for 5-20 minutes before washing in cold water; crushing the washed mugwort for 1-3 times using a crusher; mixing 30-40 wt% of crushed mugwort, 30-40 wt% of glutinous rice, 22-27 wt% of flour, 0.3-0.5 wt% of sugar, 0.2-0.4 wt% of butter, 0.3-0.5 wt% of milk, 0.3-0.6 wt% of salt, and 0.1-0.3 wt% of yeast, and kneading the mixture at 3 for 5-7 minutes using a kneader; settling the obtained dough at room temperature for 50-70 minutes, and aging the dough at 5-10 for 20-28 hours; molding the aged dough; and steaming the molded dough in a steamer at 50-100 for 20-30 minutes.
