The insertion part is inserted inside a subject. The tip comprises a first illumination optical system for illuminating the inside of the subject, and a first imaging optical system containing a first imaging element for imaging the inside of the subject and a first objective lens disposed in front of the first imaging element. The connection part connects the tip and the insertion part. The first imaging element is positioned so that an imaging surface faces the insertion part.La présente invention vise à proposer un endoscope, qui permet des observations vers larrière tout en réduisant la dimension dune structure de pointe. A cet effet, linvention concerne un endoscope, qui comprend une partie dintroduction, une pointe et une partie de raccordement. La partie dintroduction est introduite à lintérieur dun sujet. La pointe comprend un premier système optique déclairage pour éclairer lintérieur du sujet, et un premier système optique dimagerie contenant un premier élément dimagerie pour représenter lintérieur du sujet, et un premier objectif disposé en face du premier élément dimagerie. La partie de raccordement relie la pointe et la partie dintroduction.
