PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a biodegradable film having sufficient moisture retention property, preventing excessive dryness of protective target in use, for example soil in field and having no generation of large error by biodegradation during use period even when exposed to abnormal weather such as outbreak heavy rainfall or the like.SOLUTION: There is provided a biodegradable film containing a biodegradable resin and an adhesive, the adhesive contains aliphatic acid monoamide and is contained at 0.3 to 1.2 pts.wt. based on 100 pts.wt. of the biodegradable resin and having contact angle of water to the film of 100° or more.
