An object of the present invention is to provide a novel medical material. A medical material of the present invention consists of biocompatible nanoparticles with superparamagnetic properties. The superparamagnetic properties of the nanoparticles are used the effect of these particles to localize the predetermined space or tissue. In particular, nanoparticles having a superparamagnetic property is composed of magnetite.
