PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suitably burn a gas generation agent to generate a combustion gas to pressurize an injection solution and inhibit combustion residuum generated when it is burned.SOLUTION: A syringe to inject a substance to be injected into a region to be injected of a living body includes a syringe body, a filled part to fill the substance to be injected therein, a combustion chamber, which is provided on the syringe body, to contain the gas generation agent to generate the combustion gas to pressurize the substance to be injected that is filled in the filled part, and an ignition means to ignite the gas generation agent contained in the combustion chamber.
