Disclosed is a mouth guard in which teeth grooves for teeth to be inserted are formed to protect the teeth by being adhered to an upper jaw or a lower jaw which composes a dental arch. The mouth guard according to the present invention comprises a guard inner wall which forms one wall of the teeth grooves to be contacted with a lingual surface of the teeth and wraps the lingual surface of the teeth； a guard outer wall which forms the other wall of the teeth grooves to contact with the outer surface of the teeth and wraps the outer surface of the teeth； and a guard base which is formed along the dental arch to cover anterior sections and both posterior occlusal surfaces which compose end parts of the teeth, and connects the inner wall to the outer wall of the guard for the teeth to be inserted between the inner wall and the outer wall of the guard. Also, the guard base comprises a soft buffer layer which alleviates impacts added to the teeth； a hard inner base layer placed inside the buffer layer； and a hard outer base layer placed outside the buffer layer. The mouth guard according to the present invention prevents teeth damages by absorbing impact caused by clenching or bruxism； is effective for maintaining dentition； and enhances durability for continuous use.본 발명은: 치열궁을 이루는 상악 또는 하악의 치아(Teeth)에 피착되어서 상기 치아를 보호하도록, 상기 치아가 끼워지는 치아홈이 형성된 치아 보호기를 개시한다. 본 발명에 따른 치아 보호기는； 상기 치아의 설측면에 접촉되도록 상기 치아홈의 일측벽을 이루며 상기 치아의 설측면을 두르는 가드 내벽과； 상기 치아의 외측면에 접촉되도록 상기 치아홈의 타측벽을 이루며 상기 치아의 외측면에 두르는 가드 외벽과； 상기 치아의 끝 부분을 이루는 전치부의 절단면과 양측 구치부의 교합면을 덮도록 상기 치열궁을 따라 형성되며, 상기 가드 내벽과 상기 가드 외벽 사이에 상기 치아가 끼워지도록 상기 가드 내벽과 가드 외벽을 연결하는 가드 베이스를 포함하여 구성된다. 그리고, 상기 가드 베이스는； 상기 치아에 가해지는 충격을 완화시키는 연질의 완충층과, 상기 완충층을 기준으로 상기 완충층의 내측에 구비되는 경질의 내부 베이스층과, 상기 완충층을 기준으로 상기 완충층의 외측에 구비되는 경질의 외부 베이스층을 포함하여 구성된다.본 발명에 따른 치아 보호기는 이악물기나 이갈이로 인한 충격을 흡수해서 치아의 손상을 방지하고 치열의 유지에 효과적이고 지속적 사용에 대한 내구성이 우수하다.
