PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a detergent composition which has high detergency to oil pollution, has good spreading properties and good rinsing properties when using.SOLUTION: The invention provides a detergent composition containing a component (a), a component (b), and a component (c): (a) a nonionic surfactant (b) polypropylene glycol and (c) a scrub material. The detergent composition may also contain a component (d), thickener. Excellent detergency and feeling of use can be provided in the site accompanied with strong oil pollution or the like, by use in cleansing hands or body.
