In a first aspect, the invention relates to a device for producing chocolate products, which device comprises a basic production module and one or more follow-on production modules, which production modules are arranged serially along a conveying surface, each comprising at least one chocolate dosing unit and at least one of the production modules furthermore comprises a granulate dosing unit. In particular, the follow-up production modules each further comprise an electronic detection unit, for locating a semi-finished product on the transport surface. In a second aspect, the invention further relates to a method for producing chocolate products.
