To provide a navigation system capable of navigating a device so that a device for medical procedure can be precisely located at a previously confirmed lesion position.An ultrasound image or an X-ray image acquired while inserting a rotation probe of an ultrasonic imaging apparatus is used as a reference image for inserting a device. Then, while inserting the device, its position is calculated, and a reference image corresponding to the position of the device is displayed on the display device. When the device reaches the affected part position, the angle is estimated from the X-ray image and presented.
