A method for making silicone hydrogel, includes steps of: preparing polyethylene glycol-containing secondary or tertiary amino alcohol, a crosslinking agent having at least two epoxy groups, and a free radical chain polymerization of a copolymerization mixture, wherein the copolymerization mixture contains a straight-chain silicone prepolymer, a silicon-containing monomer, and a hydrophilic monomer heating the epoxy groups of the crosslinking agent to be engaged with the amino alcohol and a component of the polymerization mixture, respectively and completing the polymerization reaction to get the silicone hydrogel. The present invention also provides contact lenses made by such a silicon hydrogel. The present invention enables polyethylene glycol of the amino alcohol to be fixed to the surface of the silicon hydrogel, and thus makes it hydrophilic and electrically neutral.一種含矽水膠之製作方法,包括下列步驟:製備含有聚乙二醇的二級或三級醇胺,具有至少二個環氧基之交聯劑,以及可進行自由基鏈鎖聚合之共聚合混合物,其中的共聚合混合物由直鏈型含矽預聚物、含矽單體及親水性單體組成;執行一接合程序,藉加熱使該交聯劑之環氧基開環並分別與醇胺和共聚合混合物的成分之一接合,以及完成自由基鏈鎖聚合反應,以得致一含矽水膠。本發明亦提供使用上述方法所製得之隱形眼鏡。本發明使醇胺的聚乙二醇結構分佈並固定在含矽水膠表面,使其具有親水性及電中性。
