PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gel mat and a method for producing same by ultraviolet light curing.SOLUTION: In this gel mat including a gel bag and method for producing same by ultraviolet light curing, the gel bag is filled with a gel formed by curing a monomer, a cross-linking agent, a photoinitiator and water by ultraviolet rays. The gel comprises the monomer, the cross-linking agent, the photoinitiator, and the residual water in a percentage. The monomer is two or more kinds of compositions of alkali metal acrylates, esters generated from methacrylic acid, acrylamide, methacrylamide, and AMPS (2-acrylamido-2-methylpropanesulfonic acid). The cross-linking agent is a compound having a plurality of non-conjugated double bonds, and is a polyalcohol (glycerin), or N,N-methylene bisacrylamide. The photoinitiator is a cleavage-type initiator, a thermosensitive initiator, or a cationic initiator. The ultraviolet curing production method for the gel mat has a simple production process.
