PURPOSE: A planting composition is provided to prevent the roots of trees from being protruded to the surface of the ground during the growth of a tree. CONSTITUTION: A planting composition(20) contains a soil-forming material with a particle diameter of 10-60mm, a growth supporting material with the particle diameter of 0.1-9.9mm, and an adhesive attaching the soil-forming material and the growth supporting material. The soil-forming material has 30-50% porosity. The growth supporting material fills 37.5-75% of pores on the soil-forming material. The adhesive fills 0.1-24.9% of pores on the soil-forming material. The soil-forming material is selected from one or more from crushed stones, ceramics, foamed glass, bricks, roof tiles, volcanic gravels, foamed curb stones, iron and steel slag, and construction waste materials. The growth supporting material is selected from one or more from sand, clay, compost, organic compost, fermented sewage sludge compost, perlite, foamed glass, peat moss, improvement products using palm trees, volcanic gravels, zeolite, vermiculite, steel slag, and construction waste materials. The adhesive is selected from one or more from starch, synthetic polymers, natural rubber, seaweed, and polymer absorbers based on adhesive-compounds.본 발명은 수목의 뿌리 돌출 방지를 위한 식재용 조성물 및 이를 이용한 식재 방법에 대한 것이다. 본 발명의 식재용 조성물은 충분한 지반 강도를 가지면서도, 수목의 뿌리가 신장할 수 있는 환경을 제공한다. 그러므로 본 발명의 식재용 조성물을 이용하여 수목을 식재할 경우, 수목의 뿌리가 본 발명의 식재용 조성물 쪽으로 신장하게 되어, 지표면으로 뿌리가 돌출되는 것을 방지할 수 있다.
