The transport container (1) comprises a front wall (7), a rear wall (12), and side walls (10a,11a) which are hinged together with respect to the corners (3-6) of a base (2). The front wall, rear wall and side walls can be stacked when the transport container is empty and folded in horizontal direction and hinged together when the transport container is in open and unfolded condition. The front wall comprises of hinged panels (8,9).
